Hey folks, Valkor here. Since starting TOV, it's rare that I'll write a preview for a film. I mean it's good to get some early buzz goin, but I've never partook in it. I did it for The Dark Knight, but not much else. But for Philip Messerer, writer/director/producer/editor of dark comedy, vampire flick "Thicker Than Water: the Vampire Diaries pt.1" Sad to say there probably won't be a part two, but I'll keep my fingers crossed. But Philip hit me on some new shit he's workin on, and I must say I'm way intrigued by it. Just check out the promo poster to start.

That doesn't say much, so I'm gonna quote the email, so you get it straight from the man himself.

In some ways it's even more ambitious than TTW. For one thing, it's got an ensemble cast of 26. They are mostly stand up comedians. Yes, it's a dark comedy. You know me and my twisted sense of humor. And of course it will have a decent amount of gore (including one prosthesis that will not easily be forgotten). But this production has an interesting twist. Instead of casting actors for parts, I got together the most talented undiscovered performers on the Hollywood underground comedy scene and asked them to create their own characters. Then we improvised for two months until I had enough to throw together a script. It's an experiment but I have a feeling it's going to rock! And hopefully will introduce the world to a whole slew of new comic talent.

So it's a film loaded with underground comedians, improv and lots of gore. Oh I can't WAIT to see how this one turns out. I mean with just the names of some of the characters, I really wanna see how it all plays out!
