So last night I went to see Angels & Demons and I must confess
I have never read the book so I will be giving the angelic view
or the purest view possible. Now that being said, the movie starts
off with the death of the pope and the choosing of another when
the four main cardinals that might take over after there vote
are kidnapped by the illuminati. The illuminati sent a video message
saying that they will kill each cardinal one every hour and then
blow up the Vatican. So the church decides to call in Robert Langdon
(Tom Hanks) to solve this mystery. Langdon goes in search of the
lighted path, which he found out where it started at, in a book
that was written by Galileo, who was believed to be illuminati
and held in a room that has as little air as possible. After a
few minutes in there, it would make it impossible for someone
to breathe (plot point). So Langdon finds what he is looking for
and goes on a chase to save the four cardinals. While this is
going on we see the Camerlengo (Ewan McGregor) trying to convince
the other cardinals to stop the vote and evacuate St. Peters Square.
The other cardinals led by Cardinal Strauss (Armin Mueller-Stahl)
decide that the vote must go on, especially after a great speech
by the Camerlengo. Now Langdon isn’t by himself because
with him is Vittoria (Ayelet Zurer) a scientist who made the anti-matter,
which is in the bomb. She says she needs at least five minutes
to change the time and give them an extra 24 hours (plot point
as well). Now I don’t want to ruin anymore of the movie
for you guys because this movie is great and I really believe
you should go see it.

The Good
The good was almost everything in this movie from the actors to the great views to even the red cardinals’ outfits. The plot wasn’t difficult to follow but it definitely wasn’t predictable; had me fooled almost the entire movie, but I figured it out. (LOL I really thought it was Cardinal Strauss for almost the entire movie). Tom Hanks was great in his role, he really had me glued. And much respect to Ron Howard whose vision made this movie what it is (who would’ve thought Richie Cunningham would be this good).

The Bad
Now unfortunately there was something bad and to me that was all the whining people that came in to criticize the movie after reading the book. Get over it people! A book to movie will always be different; it needs to if not the movie would be too long! Just think if everything was in it the movie would be hours and hours long! GET OVER IT!!!!!

The Ugly
N/A

So in conclusion, Angels and Demons is great and you should really go see it. You’ll love it. I’m giving it 5 out of 5 stars and two Fonzie thumbs up (heyyyyyyyyy) and it has been Epic-1 tested and TOV approved!!!!!!!
