Hey gang, Valkor here. And I’m back with my second Nendoroid review; After the first review, I think I’ll do more of these, so you can expect plenty of Nendoroid loving here on the site. I know it might be a little “too cutesy,” but I can’t deny their coolness! So, coming to the TOV stage, we’ve got one from the Tales of Vesperia video game, check it out its Nendoroid 1078 Yuri Lowell. Is it awesome? You already know!

From the RPG about a hero's quest for justice, "Tales of Vesperia", comes a Nendoroid of the protagonist: Yuri Lowell! He comes with three face plates including his smiling expression, his angry expression and a glancing expression often seen when he's quipping with his friends.
For optional parts, he comes with his sword Second Star which can be displayed sheathed or unsheathed using interchangeable parts. He also comes with Azure Edge effect parts, allowing you to recreate in-game battle scenes! Be sure to add him to your collection!
In the box, you get plenty of small bits and add ons for the character–much more than what you get with Miku. However, this will allow you to place Yuri in a variety of poses, recreating scenes from the game or just something you’d like. Personally, I like the effects part as that adds a bit of fun to the figure. I don’t have any pose pics with the effect, but it’s still a cool option to have. And with the next Nendoroid, I'll do more with the poses as I should have done with Yuri.
Looking at the character design, The Good Smile company nails it as Nendoroid Yuri is the proper representation as his full-grown counterpart. I'm talking his outfit, hair, and even the ribbons for his sword are all on point! The additional faceplates are great for changing up the mood of Yuri. The angry smirk is my personal favorite, but I'm coming around to the exasperated expression.
As much as I enjoyed the Hatsune Miku Nendoroid, I have to say I like the Yuri Lowell Nendoroid even more. First up, I like the fact that there are plenty of extra pieces for a wide variety of poses to choose from, such as action poses or even comical ones. And second, as a fan of RPGs, how can I pass on something like this? Yuri is super cool and an excellent choice for a Nendoroid. His different facial expressions really add to the appeal of the character and the added effect is a bonus for those looking to add some fun to the figure. Overall, if you’re a fan of the game, you’d be doing yourself a favor in snatching this one up!
