Hey gang, Valkor here. Recently, I had the pleasure of attending a tasting event – the Fedway 4th Annual Craft Spirit Grand Tasting. And I had to be careful with this one because they dealt with much of the heavy stuff. But I not only made it through the event still able to stand, but I also walked off with plenty of new companies to showcase here on TOV. Not just with drinks but also drink ideas. First up, we have TYKU, and it's taking Sake to the next level!

Some brief info about TYKU from the company's website:
TYKU is the leader in Premium Sake with the most awarded, best tasting and fastest growing Japanese Sake in the U.S. Made from only 4 all-natural ingredients – premium non-GMO rice, pure soft water, yeast, and handmade koji – making it one of the purest alcoholic beverages on the planet. The clean alternative to wine with 12-15% alcohol by volume, but Gluten-free, Sulfite-free, Tannin-free, and five times less acidity than wine. Handcrafted and imported from the famed Umenoyado Brewery right in the heart of Nara, Japan.

I'll admit, after sampling TYKU's cucumber, coconut and super premium Junmai sake, coconut is hands down my favorite and it's a taste I thought I'd never experience with sake; it's very clean and very crisp that's not too strong and the taste of coconut is just right. What I like even more about TYKU is that it looks to make for a great base in a countless amount of drinks, some of which I'll share below (and maybe in the future). So, if you like these ideas and want more or you'd like to learn more about TYKU, just click that logo to the right!
