Hey gang, Valkor here. And I'm coming at ya with a CrewView review that I think most men may find quite useful because I know I did. So, you're in the midst of shaving. However, you've run into an obstruction – hair has gotten stuck in the blade and it's a bitch to get out. Enter “BLADETAP”, which is a special type of blade holder that also acts as a sharpener and also unclogs your blade. Is it worth your holiday or any day bucks? Read on! But that golden award says that it absolutely deserves it!
BLADETAP is the 3-in-1 bathroom accessory every man should have in their shaving repertoire. First, you have the holder that has a suction cup at the back, which will stick to most surfaces. Or if you have a wide enough mirror, you can stick it to one side, leaving yourself room to shave on the other. Next, you have the sharpener base, which will give new life to your blades, rather than tossing it after one or two uses, which in turn, saves you money. Finally, you have the bristles at the top of the holder and this is mad key to what makes BLADETAP awesome. If ever your blades get clogged full of hair and gunk, you simply give it a couple of taps against the brushes to unclog it. Once you're done, just give BLADETAP a quick rinse and done.
I'm a huge Gillette Fusion user. And I've been a fan since the Mach 3. But one of the biggest issues I've always faced with any of their razors is when the blades would get gunked up full of hair. And no amount of rinsing could ever set them annoyances free. At one point I kept a paper towel nearby to try and wipe away the mess, but then I'd end up with paper towel bits stuck in the blades. But when I was presented the opportunity to give BLADETAP a try, I was hesitant yet intrigued. Then I figured “I couldn't do any worse”. So, let's see how BLADETAP fared in the TOV Breakdown.
You. Need. BLADETAP. Simple as that. I've showered praise on a lot of products here at TOV, but BLADETAP is something that deserves all the praise I or anyone else can give it. If you shave often using a disposable or with something like a Fusion blade, then picking up a BLADETAP is a bathroom necessity. A few taps unclog your blades and another few taps against the base sharpens it up – it's a razor blade tapping revolution! In the end, BLADETAP is a wonderful new product that's a shaving game changer and a must have for any and all shavers.
My only issue with BLADETAP was that the suction cup didn't stick to my wall. It did stick perfectly against the mirror while I was shaving. But I wanted to put it up after I was done. Unfortunately, that didn't happen.
With the holiday shopping season gearing up, why not give someone the hook up with BLADETAP. I mean, we're all tired of having to throw out good razors simply because they've become clogged. I know I hate it! However, BLADETAP has changed all that and has earned itself a 4.5 out of TOV stars.
