It's the weekend before Halloween and there are plenty of folks out there going crazy trying to finish off last minute odds and ends like costumes, decorations, gathering the grub, deciding spooky film selections and choosing the right alcohol to set the mood off just right. But I say settle down, you're going to need a drink before the party and one of my favorite's ways to start is Ketel One on the rocks. And since were in the season of fright, No party is a good party unless you have a variety of mix drinks on hand - especially for that grown and sexy crowd, here are some devilish drinks brought to us by the good people Ketel One.

- THE GREAT PUMPKIN
- 1 ½ oz. Ketel One® Vodka | ½ oz. Baileys® Caramel Irish Cream | ½ oz. pumpkin liqueur | 1 cinnamon stick
- Combine Ketel One Vodka and Baileys Caramel in a mixing glass. Vigorously shake with ice. Add pumpkin liqueur and shake again. Strain into a rocks glass over ice. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
- TRUE BLOOD MARTINI
- 1 ½ oz. Ketel One® Citroen | 1 oz. ginger liqueur | 1 oz. dark grape juice | ½ oz. blackberry syrup
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass. Vigorously shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with two blackberries.
- CLOCKWORK ORANJE
- 1 ½ oz. Ketel One® Oranje | ¾ oz. fresh lemon juice | 1 oz. white crème de cacao
- Build in a Collins glass. Fill the glass with crushed ice. Use a swizzle stick to stir and blend ingredients. Garnish with an orange wedge.
- GREEN GOBLIN
- 1 oz. Ketel One® Oranje | 4 oz. green tea (boiled or bottled) | ½ oz. fresh lime juice | ½ oz. fresh lemon sour
- Build in a Collins glass over ice. Stir. Garnish with a lime wedge.
- BLACK CAT
- 1 oz. Ketel One® Oranje | ½ oz. Stirrings® Espresso Liqueur | Splash of black anise liqueur
- Build in a rocks glass over ice. Stir. Garnish with an orange peel.
Every so often I don't mind straying from Ketel One on the rocks, so, and I know that this Halloween, the nerd in me will be enjoying a green goblin! I made mine with 2 oz. Ketel One® Oranje and it made my Pre Halloween bash a relaxing one. As always have fun drink up. Please be safe and drink responsibly.
