Nendoroid 1439 Hatsune Miku Kigurumi Agumon Ver. Review

Hey gang, Valkor here. As much as I enjoy reviewing Nendoroids, sometimes they can be a lot of work. The main reason is that there can be too many pieces. It doesn’t take away from my score. But when it comes time to pose the figure, it becomes difficult because I'm more afraid of losing pieces. Yet, when the latest Nendoroid, 1439 Hatsune Miku Kigurumi Agumon Ver., slid across my desk, I was super excited to give it a TOV run because there weren’t too many pieces! Plus, it combines two of my favorite characters, so how could I pass this up?

Taken from the GoodSmile website:

From the Hatsune Miku x Digimon Adventure Collaboration for Digimon Adventure's 20th Anniversary comes a Nendoroid of Hatsune Miku wearing an Agumon kigurumi! She comes with three face plates including a standard expression, a curious blank expression and a smiling expression. Optional parts include a butterfly and goggles. The Nendoroid features advanced articulation, allowing you to create all kinds of poses. Be sure to add this very special Nendoroid to your collection!

And I thought the Filo Nendoroid was adorable! But the Miku/Agumon figure almost makes that one forgettable. Included with the Miku/Agumon Nendoroid, you also get two additional faceplates, a butterfly, and a pair of goggles (and, of course, the pose pad). And that’s it-no extra hands, swords, or shields, just a straight-up figure with a few pieces. And believe me, I’m OK with it!

As far as the design goes, the Miku/Agumon Nendoroid is a beautiful piece! Again, the most adorable Nendoroid to enter the Val-cave! You get the cuteness of Miku, wrapped in a full-on Agumon onesie that gives the figure a playfulness look about it. And what I enjoy the most is that the figure can stand well on its own, without the use of the pad. I mean, some of the other figures could as well. But it took more work than with Miku/Agumon. Finally, I think the goggles are a bonus and enhance the cuteness of the figure. Toss in the curious faceplate and you get an adorable figure on a grand scale. Okay, maybe that’s extreme, but looking at these pics, I can’t find the lie!
