So by now you’ve seen every movie that you think you wanted
to see right? Well I’m here to tell you that you need to
put “I Love You Beth Cooper” on your list. When I
first heard about this movie I said it was definitely one I would
really want to avoid but my wife insisted we would go and my friend
and his girl agreed to go, so I said why not.

Now I am happy to report that this movie is hilarious throughout. Right from the beginning when Denis Cooverman (Paul Rust) does his valedictorian speech and declares his love for Beth Cooper (Hayden Panettiere), he calls out the stuck up bitch, the anorexic girl, says that the bully just does it cause he had issues and was probably molested, and then calls out the guy who graduated and is still around stalking the young teenage girl, who we then find out that this is Beth’s boyfriend. Finally he says that his best friend is still in the closet and needs to declare that he is gay, which his friend yells that he isn’t. Well Beth thinks this is sweet and Denis invites her to his house for a party, which just balls up in a night that Denis will never forget with Beth and her friends Cammy (Lauren London) and Treece (Lauren Storm), with his friend Rich (Jack T. Carpenter). This movie has it all from car chases, to funny spot after funny spot, to yes even some brief nudity and a threesome. Now I won’t ruin anymore of the film for you but I will say that this is your average nerd gets his wish or does he?

              The Good
The movie is funny from beginning to end I didn’t stop laughing and the brief nudity just adds points. Rich is actually hilarious as he just spurts out movie quotes. The acting was really good too and the parents of Denis who are played by Cynthia Stevenson (who is on a great show that I love as well called Surviving Suburbia with Bob Saget) and Alan Ruck (from another great movie you might know as Ferris Bueller’s Day Off) are funny in there parts. Watching Denis get beat up by Beth’s boyfriend every time he catches up with them is just hilarious and last but not least Beth’s driving is crazy.

              The Bad
The bad is really nothing, I just think they should of showed them in the future at the end while the credits go on at there 10 year reunion so we can see it would of made the movie just that much more funnier.

              The Ugly
