Hey folks, Valkor here just trying to get my chuckles on. It's nice not having to do horror, though I have several scary films waiting in the wings. But that's something I'll deal with later. For now, I have a question: What do you do when you're in college, hormones a-raging, and you can't get any action from women your own age? You do what the guys in this latest review do, they go for the MILF. Yes, MILF is the name of the film and if you don't know what it means, always remember Google is your friend.
MILF centers around four nerdy college kids, who can't seem to get any action on account that they're... well nerds. So the group decides to tackle MILF action, since you know women at that age are just beggin for it. Things get complicated when Anthony (Philip Marlatt) sees his bestfriend's Bradon's (Jack Cullison) mom naked. Things grow even more complicated when Brandon starts plowing Anthony's mom, after seeing her naked. Can the two maintain the friendship plus score some MILF tail?
Well Brandon does, Anthony doesn't... sorta, and the other two – Nate (Joseph Booton) and Ross (Ramon Camacho) get way too much. But how does it hold up as a comedy?
The Good:
MILF isn't the greatest comedy on the planet, but it certainly isn't the worst. There's some laughs littered about, mostly towards the end, and usually of the visual kind. My favorite scene, is a more obvious one, where Brandon and Anthony's mom are doin it, Brandon is about to shoot his wad, which he does in a hole in the wall, where his next door neighbor was peepin in… he got an eyeful alright! The film itself has a more modern "Porky's" feel to it, with as much nudity and sex scenes. And the acting is ok, not bad, not good, just average and it doesn't hurt anything as it's all just fun.
The Bad:
It takes a bit before MILF gets started in the comedy arena. I kinda get it, it's all about bros and the bro code and one should never look or act upon your bestfriend's mom in that way, but rather than have Brandon be sly about it, I'd rather Anthony know about it from the door, and then Brandon can be sly about it, because he's hooked. I just hated waiting until the end for the reveal.
The Ugly:

MILF is an average comedy with average laughs, maybe some above average chuckles, but overall a solid comedy nonetheless. I'd have never though such an idea would make it to the big screen, and I'm also glad it wasn't a disappointment either. So out of TOV 5 stars, I give MILF a 3.5 and it's been Valkor tested and TOV Approved.
