Hey gang, Valkor here. And I'm here with a little weekend treat from the gang over at Ploom, makers of the famous PAX, which also scored big here at TOV. And they’re back with an update to the popular vape device. This round Ploom is introducing the "Diamond PAX"; it’s available only for a limited time and it'll make any fan of the latest iPhone very happy.

Today, Ploom, an innovative manufacturer of alternative smoking devices with patented vapor technology, is announcing the launch of their latest color in their PAX line, the Diamond Pax. This new Pax includes a silver body with a black mouthpiece, and will be available for a limited time. Pax retails for $249.99 at select stores.
The Diamond PAX sports the same design as its big brother - as far as size and shape; the only difference is the outer casing; this new PAX has a "clear anodized aluminum matte finish" (from the company website - no longer available). The reason why it's limited? It matches that of the new iPhone 6/6 Plus. So if you're looking to pick up Apple's latest smartphone and you're also a fan of PAX then the two go well side by side.
Other than the look, my review of the original PAX still stands; the only difference you're getting is design, which I'll admit looks pretty impressive. And from what I've seen of the new iPhone 6/6 Plus, the Diamond PAX is a perfect match.
The Bang:
Ploom’s PAX offers up a one – two punch that gives it an easy win in the Val-Cave – it offers up a unique and simple design that’s very easy to use. The design is sleek, very portable and discreet that it can easily slip into your pocket (pants or shirt) with ease. The user manual is the perfect walkthrough to get you going and in seconds you’re on your way. But what I truly enjoyed? That pipe tobacco smell, which carried with me throughout the day and kept my mellow up. Get some of this should you invest in a PAX. I’m impressed with the Ploom’s PAX vaporizer and I know any device that follows will certainly have its work cut out for it.
