Mr Troop Mom DVD Review

So Valkor comes to me with this movie and after a lot of whining and crying he finally convinces me to review it (Valkor’s Note: Yes this actually happened!!) and as I thought I really don’t like it but it wasn’t as bad as I thought. Mr. Troop Mom features George Lopez as Eddie Serrano in this Nickelodeon Movie where Eddie becomes his daughter and friends troop mom after the original troop mom who is pregnant has the baby and he agrees to take over. Now he is desperate to connect with his daughter Naomi (Daniela Bobadilla) and has the camp counselor Ms. Hulka (Jane Lynch) on his back on every little thing he does wrong and if that wasn’t enough the opposing troop mom trying to get into his pants. Now this movie is produced by George and his wife Ann Lopez and it also has their daughter Mayan Lopez in it so nepotism is definitely alive. The special features include a look into Naomi’s journal which would be interesting for all those young girls and oh yeah did I forget to mention that Alex and Nat Wolff of the Naked Brothers Band are in the movie that is because they are literally in it for like 5 minutes at the end of the movie and one of the special features. They also have a gag reel which isn’t really funny but the movie in a whole wasn’t really funny as well.

Mr. Troop Mom

The Good

Not a lot of good in this movie just the point that family is well family and you should be happy with who or what you have because someone else might not have that.

Mr. Troop Mom

The Bad

The movie in whole was bad I mean really George Lopez just tries his best to be funny but it really doesn’t come out that way. The movie has a label on it that says that Alex and Nat Wolff are in the movie but they are in it for 2 minutes at the end. The story is just to boring for me and way to predictable we know that Naomi is scared of heights and we know she is going to get over it. We know that Eddie and Naomi are going to reunite and be happy together. It was just too kid friendly and I mean this movie is suppose to be for those kids from 12 or older and I think it will not be liked as much.

Mr. Troop Mom

The Ugly

The real ugly of this movie is that it was on TV first and you could’ve seen it for free but no now you have to pay for it and sit through it and all dads around the world prepare yourselves cause you will have to watch this with your daughter and you might have to take her camping (OOOOOHHHH NOOOOO!!!!!)

Mr. Troop Mom

So in conclusion, Mr. Troop Mom gets 1 out of 5 stars.

Peace up out 1
