Hey this is Ace reviewing Hooking Up starring Corey Feldman, Bronson Pinchot, and Brian O'Halloran. Now this movie is billed as a comedy, which at some points it is, but instead it feels more like a soft-core porno. Corey Feldman in this film is nothing but a skid mark on some clean underwear. There is a decent plot and story that begins to develop when the movie gets toward the middle but it falls apart. Now why you may ask it falls apart? Because it focuses on Corey Feldman's coked up weak non laughable character.

The story starts with three teens walking around a track. One is a geek, John (Parker Croft) that knows the sex lingo but is still a virgin, another is a bisexual, Colin (Jim deProphetis) who loves dry humping his bed, and last but not least the guy that the story supposedly evolves around, Tyler (Ted Sangalis) the shy good looking guy. From the track, we are introduced to three girls: yet another geeky cute virgin, Michelle (Leah Viens-Gordon), a girl who gets verbally abused by Corey's character, Caroline (Alison Whitney), and a girl who claims to be a virgin after being a blowjob queen, April (Allyson Munoz) (how many times I've heard that). The three male friends (John, Colin, and Tyler) go on exploits to explore their high school sexuality with basically anything they can get their hands on and I mean ANYTHING!!!! April, high school porn star, goes on an odyssey of blowjobs seeming lost after every one she gives. Caroline, who happens to be an absolute idiot, follows Ryan, also known as "The white R.Kelly", around while he fucks random females and habitually rides the white lines of absolute insanity. Michelle wants to find a way to tell Tyler she wants lose to her virginity up to him. Each of the teenagers in this story is trying to find their own sexual identity.

Good:
This movie is funny. The scenes with John explaining sexual terms and Mr. Kimbal's meetings with the Jordans were hilarious!

Bad:
This movie is also funny for some bad reasons that would mostly be the acting. Corey Feldman can act just as well as me and that's not very good!! The story found a way to make Ryan the main character even though he has nothing to do with the story in general; it's like having a dog learn how to drive a car yet driving a car is ONLY meant for human beings!!!!! The story's ending is BULLSHIT too and makes no kind of sense.

Ugly:
Colin is just nasty. If I had a friend like him I would disown him immediately!!!! The thought of the amount of male specimen in April's mouth YUCK!!!!! Conclusion: The story gives a hint that the ending would revolve around Michelle the virgin, and Tyler the loner who gets none. I am guessing the director wanted to go outside the box and fool the audience but it really only leads up to a sour ending especially with the way the story builds towards the conclusion. It will leave many baffled and confused. Out of TOV 5 stars, I give Hooking Up a 2.5.
